Here we are. The end of the first month of 2016, and what a month it's been. There've been both ups and downs, but overall it's been a very productive and exciting month. For one thing, I'm getting braces in a few weeks, so that'll be a commitment in itself. And so, as January comes to a close, I give you my overall favourites from the month. I was going to add my MAC lipstick, however it's already had a mention in my 'Bath, Body & Beauty Favourites' post (my previous post).
Soap and Glory 'Hand Maid' Sanitiser
A little buddy of mine, this is a very practical item. The smell is amazing, which only adds to it all. Some hand sanitizers don't always smell that nice, so to have one that does is really great. Plus, it's perfect for when I'm treating my new ear piercings, which I'll talk about next.
Double Lobe Piercings
I did it. I got my ears pierced again. I thought long and hard over the past few weeks as to whether I definitely wanted to do this, but I really wanted it done. So, I went to Claire's and, honestly, the experience was better than I possibly could have hoped for. The lady who pierced my ears was exceptionally nice, so a big 'thank you' to her. And the result? I absolutely love it.
'Finding Audrey' by Sophie Kinsella
I recently finished this book, and I can honestly say it's one of the best individual books I've ever read. It's relatable, fun, and it's a book that isn't over-complicated in any way. I was always eager to find out what happened next and was never bored at any point. Well done and thank you to Sophie Kinsella for writing such an exciting, interesting book.
Happy Jackson Calendar
Since I don't usually keep a diary, it's really good to have something that's right in front of me, so that I know of any important dates at all times. There were many calendars on offer, but this one really stood out to me, due to the bold colours and the unique touches. I have to say, it's very practical. I love that each page sports a different colour combination.
DIY's
I've always loved creating things, and recently I've been loving DIY room decorations. A couple of weeks ago I made this jar of future aspirations, inspired by one I'd previously seen on Pinterest, a new favourite app of mine. This jar adds a really personal touch to my bedroom, and I can look back at them in the future to see if any of my dreams have become realities.

Adobe Post
I recently downloaded this app, and I might be a little bit obsessed with it. I love creating different images with text, and playing around with the different fonts and designs. I also use this app to 'advertise' my blog posts on Instagram.
That's all for this post. My last blog post of January 2016. Once again, thank you for all the support - I really appreciate it!
