You may or may not know this, but every two months I'm writing a favourites post here on this blog. I did this because I thought I'd have more to talk about if there were favourites from two months rather than one.
The first 'favourite' is actually an app, and this is ColourStory. I was reading another blog and the blogger was talking about this in one of her posts. If you're not familiar with this app, it's photoshopping app that has very natural filters and effects, which include natural sunlight and those stars that naturally hit the sea in sunlight in photographs. Despite being useful, the only thing I would say is that the range of filters/effects to choose from are limited unless you want to fork out some cash. The packages don't cost much, however I don't like paying for things in apps. However, that's my only complaint.
Another app I've been loving is I've been loving is the Countdown app. It's been very useful in the sense that I know exactly how long I have left until a certain event, meaning days, hours, minutes and seconds. It's very straightforward and you can customise your timers.
You may or may not have heard of Netflix, a television app. I am obsessed with this. The best part is the fact that they have PLL (Pretty Little Liars) on it, which is by far my favourite show. I'm buzzing for season 7. Netflix also has the Twilight Saga films on it, which is really cool.
Sticking with the TV theme, recently I been loving Australia's Next Top Model (which has finished, much to my disappointment) and the Great British Sewing Bee. If you're into modelling, this programme is definitely the way forward, and if you're a passionate sewer or fashion designer, I'd definitely recommend the GBSB.
On to a beauty product, I've been liking my angled liner brush by Barbara Hofmann that I bought from Douglas (this is like a Sephora or Selfridges) in Munich. I'd been wanting one for a while, as the brush in the brow kit I already had was to short to use properly, nevertheless it still did the job. This new brush was very cheap for its good quality - I didn't want to spend much - and the appearance is so cool and expensive-looking. Sometimes I have to go over the ends of my brows when they're looking a bit bare, but I don't fill in the rest, and I don't always have to go over them anyway.
One shower gel I've been obsessed with ever since I bought it is the ZoellaBeauty Foam Sweet Foam shower gel. The overall Tutti Fruity scent within the range is so amazing and I was really excited to have that fragrance as a shower gel because it's so delicious-smelling.
Finally, a skincare product I've been liking and using a lot more recently is the Simple day cream. I feel like it actually does something, as it makes my skin very glowy and smooth. It doesn't smell gross either, which is a bonus, I have to say, but then again most skincare products smell really nice. Another I've been using a lot lately is the Garnier Summer Body lotion, which gives a very natural tan and is very easy to apply.
I feel as if I've definitely got more to write about if I do a 'favourites' post every two months. I hope you liked the second post of this week.
