I feel that one of the most important things in life is learning to move forward and let the past go. And this is the main focus of this blog post. I'm going to tell you all about the best ways of looking forward and getting motivated to do things you never thought you’d do. Fitness, fashion…this can mean anything. When you wake up, think: ‘Right, it’s a new day, which means a new fresh start.’ Blow away yesterday’s cobwebs and start the day off anew. What happens every day is inevitable, but try to make the best of it.
One of my favourite quotes is “Don’t worry about things that haven’t happened yet.” This is because it completely applies to me and is very relatable. When worrying, I always keep this thought in the back of my mind. Because you see, you can’t let things beyond your control overwhelm your thoughts. Working yourself up about things will not help your situation, and it may even determine how you feel for the rest of the day.
If you’re a worrier, like myself, I always find that it’s best to confide in someone. It feels really good to get any queries off my chest, and it literally feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I haven’t had chance to try this myself when worrying, but I feel that meditation would also help somebody in this particular situation. They can let their mind drift away to another world where there aren’t any distractions or reasons to be worried.
And on that note, I’ve reached the end of this week's post! I hope you've benefited from this - it would make me very happy to know I've made a difference, even if it's only a small one.
