There's nothing I like more than packing a bag for a holiday. The excitement involved in packing your shorts and bikinis is almost unreal. This year, I'm visiting Germany and France with my family, and it's all very exciting for me. Another thing I love about travelling is the journey. I love flying so much, as it's such an interesting way to travel.
This may sound odd, but even having to get up and dressed at 4 in the morning, just to get to the airport in time, is really fun. It's pretty cool to travel really early in the morning, despite the exhaustion and disorientation. Strangely enough, long-haul flights are my favourite kind. Personally, I think that these are more exciting than short-haul flights, although short-haul flights are still very practical and obviously less time-consuming.
When we go to France in the Summer holidays, we're travelling by ferry. This is also a really fun way to travel. It's been so long since I've been on a ferry, and I'm actually really looking forward to it. It should be great fun. France is a great place for exploring culture and landmarks. We're staying on a campsite in a holiday home, so there'll be lots to do.
I'm so excited for Germany in May. We're visiting Munich, and are taking the opportunity to visit friends as well as exploring the area. Germany has so much going on, and has great culture and tourist attractions.
Places I would like to visit in the future include California, Venice and Tokyo. They just seem so interesting. Like a lot of people, I prefer to go to warm, sunny places when going on holiday, and these places would most likely be very warm.
I've come to the end of this post now. I hope you enjoyed reading about something I love and am passionate about. Where would you love to visit?
