My Skincare Routine

9 April 2016

Hello!

This is my second post of the week, which is unusual, I know, but I was really eager to write about this.

First of all, I'm just going to be honest and say that a lot of the time I do forget to properly look after my skin, but when I do I feel really satisfied and replenished. At this moment in time, my skin is looking alright, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't look after it. I wanted to show you some of the products I use to look after my skin. As Summer is not too far away, it's getting more and more important to make sure our skin is protected and staying hydrated. This routine is one I use in the evening rather than in the morning. So, without further ado, let's get started!

Firstly, I remove my makeup using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, which is literally the best make-up remover ever. It removes all makeup almost straight away and will even remove waterproof makeup. The size makes it perfect for travelling, which is always a bonus for me.

I've really gotten into using Kaeso Beauty products recently. They smell really good and make your skin feel super-hydrated. I'll always use the Hydrating Cleanser product and I rub this all over my face, before rinsing it off with a flannel washed in warm water.

Next, I'll rub some Simple moisturiser on to my face. This is my go-to moisturiser, as it's light and blends in really well, which means I don't have to wash it off with water and a flannel.

Note: The link I've applied for this product goes to the product that I think is the same as the one I own.

Finally, I use Simple's 'Revitalising Eye Roll-On' to hydrate underneath my eyes. Lately I've been noticing some blue shadows under my eyes and I bought this in the hope that it will reduce the blueness. I like that it's a roll-on because I'm not wasting any product and I also like the fact that the product is clear.

Sometimes I like to apply a 7th Heaven face mask, There is a huge range of face masks from this brand, and each specialises in the treatment of different kinds of skin. For example, the two in the picture treat problem and oily and combination skin. I'll usually apply this after I remove my makeup. I'm particularly eager to try the chocolate mask. The only thing I would say about these is that I usually have a considerable amount of product left over, and because you can't seal the sachet once it's been opened, I just have to put it in the bin.

So that's that! I hope you all enjoyed reading about my skincare routine. If you have any other skincare product recommendations, feel free to leave them in the comments section below.
