During the Summer holidays, do you ever just sit and think 'I'm so bored'? To be truthful, at the beginning of the Summer holidays I make a list of things I want to do within the 6-week period, but don't really get round to doing them all. But this year that's going to change. I'm going to make a list of (realistic) things I can do during the Summer. However, if you ever find yourself in a situation where you have not much going on, you may want to try one of the ideas listed below.
The first idea is to create a blog/YouTube channel. There are so many different bloggers/YouTubers out there who can inspire you. These videos are not only great for getting your passion out there, but they are also perfect for memory-making, as you can look back on your work when you're older.
If the blogging/YouTubing isn't your style, you could always go down a route and write a story. If you're suddenly bitten by the writing bug, this is the perfect idea for you. Jot your ideas down and compile them all into one book.
If you're in the mood for a bit of a party, invite family and/or friends and have a summer evening party. This is the perfect way to socialise and compnnect with people. If you're planning on taking the party outside, double-check the weather to make sure a downfall won't be an issue. But, if you're all together, this may not be a problem.
Make the most of the weather and go for a run or work out outside. Summer is the perfect opportunity to get fit and make sure your health is your priority. Get motivated, put on your workout clothes and blast those tunes (not too loud, though!).
The next thing you could do is get inspired by Pinterest and make some summery snacks. This could either be for just you, your family or even for a party if you're taking on board my party idea. If you want something easy to make, try my strawberry and banana smoothie recipe. Or you could go all out and make some really tasty cakes.
If you are struggling for things to wear this season, have a Summer try-on. This will help you to put together outfits you had no idea would work. It might be that you don't want to go out and spend money on new clothes, but you don't really have many suitable clothes at home. You could even go to the extreme by DIYing your own clothes. There are so many DIY tutorials out there that could help.
Try something new. You have 6 whole weeks to attempt something you never thought you'd do, although you can always try something new all year round. Step out of your comfort zone and make yourself proud that you achieved something that you think would never happen. You could learn a new or try a new food, it really doesn't matter as long as you feel you've achieved something.
You could even keep a diary. If you did one every day or every week, at the end of Summer you can look back on everything you did. Or you could even make a scrapbook. This can be full to the brim of tickets, photos, and just general keepsakes that you collected. This doesn't have to be just a Summer thing, either - you can do either of these things all year round.
The last idea is to make a Summer playlist. No Summer is quite complete without one. Right now, I am IN LOVE with Little Mix's new album, Get Weird - every song on it is amazing!

I hope you got some inspiration from this post. I'm going to make my Summer to-do list soon, and I'm going to include some of these. Let me know in the comments section below if you try any of these or any more suggestions for a to-do list this holiday.
I've decided that every two months I'll be writing a 'Monthly Favourites' post, so I hope you'll look forward to those!
